These Terms govern access to Kashira’s website, desktop application, account services, collaboration features, and Kashira Cloud.
Last updated September 22, 2026By creating an account, downloading Kashira, purchasing a plan, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use Kashira for an organization, you represent that you can bind that organization. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live, and at least 13. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
Kashira is a developer workspace that includes an editor, agent workflows, project memory, local and cloud model paths, diagnostics, collaboration, and related account services. Feature availability depends on platform, version, plan, model, location, and provider availability. Roadmap items, previews, and features marked “coming soon” are not commitments or part of a purchased plan until released.
You must provide accurate account information, protect your credentials and signed-in devices, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity under your account and for configuring repository, network, model, and collaboration permissions appropriately. You may not share an account in a way that defeats plan limits or impersonate another person.
You retain ownership of source code, prompts, files, project memory, messages, and other material you submit to the Services (“Your Content”). You grant Kashira a limited, non-exclusive license to host, transmit, reproduce, and process Your Content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the Services or comply with law. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit Your Content and to invite collaborators to it.
Model output, plans, patches, commands, explanations, memory entries, and diagnostic proposals may be incomplete, insecure, incorrect, or similar to material produced for others. You are responsible for reviewing changes, licenses, dependencies, security, tests, and deployment consequences before use. Kashira is not a substitute for professional security, legal, financial, medical, or compliance advice. Do not rely on generated output as the sole basis for a high-impact decision.
Local-model workflows depend on software and models you operate and may remain on your device. Kashira Cloud sends the content needed for a request to OpenRouter and a selected model provider. Third-party provider terms and privacy practices apply to their processing. Model availability, behavior, context limits, and outputs may change without notice. Privacy-routing settings may reduce available providers or cause a request to fail rather than use an incompatible route.
You control whom you invite to a room or local sharing session. Room members may view, copy, act on, or retain content available to them. You are responsible for assigning appropriate roles, maintaining repository access, and confirming agent work before merging or deployment. Do not invite a person or agent to content you are not authorized to share.
Paid plans renew for the billing period shown at checkout until canceled. Dodo Payments processes checkout and billing, and its applicable checkout terms also govern the transaction. Plan allowances, model access, active context, concurrent tasks, and credit amounts are described on the Pricing page or in your account. Recurring credits reset at the end of each billing cycle and do not roll over. Taxes, currency conversion, and payment-method charges may apply.
You may cancel a subscription through the billing controls made available to you. Unless stated otherwise at checkout, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and access continues until then. Upgrades may take effect immediately with prorated billing; downgrades may take effect on the next billing date. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated at checkout. We may change future prices or plan limits with reasonable advance notice; changes do not retroactively alter an already-paid period.
You may not use the Services to violate law or another person’s rights; distribute malware; gain unauthorized access; abuse, disrupt, or probe systems without permission; evade usage or billing controls; generate or distribute unlawful harmful content; expose credentials or personal information without authorization; or use Kashira to build or operate a competing service by scraping, reselling, or systematically extracting the Services. Authorized security testing of systems you own or are permitted to test is allowed when conducted responsibly.
Kashira and its licensors own the Services, branding, interface, documentation, and related intellectual property, excluding Your Content and third-party components. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the desktop application for your own lawful work. Open-source components remain governed by their licenses. You may not remove notices, bypass technical restrictions, or reverse engineer the Services except where applicable law expressly permits it.
If you send ideas, suggestions, or product feedback, you allow Kashira to use them without restriction or payment. This does not transfer ownership of Your Content, private repositories, or confidential project material.
You may stop using Kashira at any time. We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address security risk, unlawful activity, abuse, non-payment, material breach, or harm to the Services or others. We may terminate an account for a material or repeated breach after notice where practical. Provisions that by their nature should survive—including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms—continue after termination.
We work to keep Kashira available, but the Services are provided without a guaranteed uptime unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. We may maintain, modify, replace, or discontinue features. Cloud requests can fail because of networks, model providers, rate limits, or third-party outages. You are responsible for maintaining backups and version-control history; Kashira is not a repository backup or disaster-recovery service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Kashira disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kashira and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business interruption. Kashira’s total liability arising from the Services will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for the Services during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or US$100. These limits do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.
Before filing a formal claim, contact kashira.ai.dev@gmail.com and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue informally. These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Kashira’s operating entity, excluding conflict-of-law rules, while mandatory consumer protections in your home jurisdiction remain unaffected. Any entity-specific venue, arbitration, or statutory notice presented at checkout or in a signed agreement will supplement these Terms.
We may update these Terms to reflect product, provider, legal, or business changes. We will post the revised Terms, update the date above, and give additional notice of material changes where required. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.
